Abstract:This paper introduces extended reality technology into the digital inheritance of Huizhou traditional residential buildings, and establishes an immersive interactive design research system of ancient residential buildings based on the application of extended reality technology, aiming at improving the interactive experience of architectural scenes and presenting cultural connotations innovatively. First of all, starting from the advantages of extended reality technology in architectural immersive experience design, combined with the status quo of Huizhou traditional residential architecture inheritance, the application significance of extended reality technology in its digital inheritance is summarized. Secondly, according to the visual, immersive and interactive features of extended reality technology, the application of extended reality technology in the digital inheritance of Huizhou traditional residential buildings is proposed. Finally, take Pingshan Youqing Hall as an example to further explain the application process and method of extended reality technology in interactive design of immersive architectural space, in order to provide some reference for the living inheritance of architectural heritage.
